Default What Movies are you Watching?

It was inevitable. This thread was going to come, you all knew it.

What movies (non-anime) are you/have you been watching either at the theatres or on VHS/DVD lately?

Just watched "Hotel Rwanda."

Made me cry. It is a very good movie, imho, and if you haven't seen it, you should. ^_^

(OT - I miss being near a Hastings, or really, a large movie rental store, like at college. I love watching movies, and will be going through withdrawls soon.)

I've been meaning to watch this! I have heard from many people that it's good.

I just watched "I Am David" It was actually pretty good. It had a happy ending and I was almost in tears from joy! (no joke). Awww a feel good movie at the end. Joan Plowright is such a good actress.

I watched Scream last night and probably watching Scream 2 tonight. My little sister is at that "scary movie" age and she hadn't seen them before.

Oh saw Hoodwinked the other day too... I hated it.

I'm a pretty big Henson fan myself and speaking of Henson, who else here is stoked about the sequal to the The Dark Crystal, The Powers of the Dark Crystal, coming out next year? It sounds like it could be awesome. I just hope it lives up to my expectations.

Heh as I mentioned in my other topic, I was revisiting All Dogs Go to Heaven today. Cause according to the movie "all dogs go to heaven, because unlike people, dogs are born loyal and kind". :/ Heh the irony in that though... (aka every dog in that movie gambling etc).

Hallmark Channel has another classic Eastwood Western on tonight:
Pale Rider.
I've seen it before and it's pretty good.Of all his westerns I have seen:
*Hang 'Em High
*Fistful of Dollars
*The Good,The Bad And The Ugly
*Pale Rider
I still need to see:
*For A Fistful of Dollars More
*Mules For Sister Sarah
*Unforgiven

I've recently rented Turtles Can Fly

I've also recently seen I'm Not Scared, which I'd definately recommend.

Watched Jurassic Park 2 with my friend last night and one part still doesn't make sense :/

Spoiler - click and drag the area below to reveal
When the t-rex is on the ship being brought to America... how exactly did it eat the ship's crew if it was still locked inside the pen? I mean, it's baby was brought over on helicopter or else that would've explained it :/ ...unless it was an intentional excuse that doesn't make sense, only so the t-rex would be let loose into the city :/

If someone could clear that up, that would be great^^

Um... Well, it's really just an intentional excuse that doesn't make sense... Heh, I'm a huge JP nerd, and I can tell you that nobody has figured that one out.

Last time I saw the movie was quite some time ago, so never put much thought into it :/ *sigh* I hate it when they do that in movies...
