Default In need of prayers
I'm not doing so well right now. Some guy was speeding through my neighborhood and ended up killing my dog. I really don't have any friends, so outside of my family, my dog was more or less the closest thing. I just feel like I'm falling apart. I'm just so alone. I just want things to get better. I would greatly appreciate some prayers right now. This whole thing just set off a lot of hurting inside me.

I'm sorry to hear about this. I understand grief very well, as several people in my life have passed on (and pets, too). I also lacked very many close friends at the time. It's pretty hard to deal with, but I've been making it through.... I'm sure you can, too. Look to the Lord for strength in your grief, and He will always be right there with you.

I'm sorry to hear this mate. Take the time to grieve and talk to someone you trust about your pain. Once you've worked through that process, it might be a good time to try and make some friends. I'm not trying to be callous (God knows I had trouble making friends for much of my life) but you have to get out there and talk to people and be a good friend to attract others. Praying for you Cloud.

Thanks, everyone.

I'm hoping that I'll meet some people in a few weeks when classes start. I tried really hard to talk to people this past year, but I just haven't really "clicked" with anyone. Now that I'm more familiar with the college after a year, I just hope things turn around this semester.

Having support from people here has really helped me through a lot since I've become a member and I just wanted to say, Thanks.
