Hey, i had a bit of a Zelda Theory thread going, but i had inadvertently necroed that thread, so i'm starting a new one.

Anyway, i was just looking at some artwork from the Zelda games and got to wondering about that eye on Agahnim's tunic.

http://media.ignimgs.com/media/ign/i...ns/agahnim.jpg

And it reminded me suddenly of something else.

http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090621171231/zelda/images/4/4d/Vaati's_Wrath.gif

Is it possible that Agahnim was originally a follower of Vaati? It seems kinda unclear to me, in LttP where he comes from. I know near the end he dies and Ganon comes out of him like a possessing spirit or something, but i was never certain that Agahnim was just a creation of Ganon's. He's never shown that kind of power in any other game.

I know Ganon's relationship with Agahnim seems similar to the relationship he had with Zant in Twilight Princess.

Which brings up another thing. Does Ganon have some kind of relationship with the Dark Interlopers that became the Twili?

Consider this non-canonical (to my knowledge) illustration of Vaati:

http://images.wikia.com/zelda/images...Cap_manga).png

And compare it to this picture of Midna:

http://images5.fanpop.com/image/phot...7-992-1323.jpg

Now, i'm not suggesting that somehow Vaati, who was a Minish, was somehow also one of the Interlopers mentioned in TP. But what if they borrowed from the same power source? Has there ever been an explanation of where their magical power comes from in the first place?

In MC you had the Minish Cap, capable of granting great power.
In TP you had the Fused Shadow, also capable of granting great power.
In MM you had the Majora's Mask, which is noticeably similar to the Fused Shadow in many ways.

Check out this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOTvmvVbyUo

Anyway, i think these are all interesting, if not conclusive.

PLEASE NOTE: i am not looking for debate or argument in which there must be a winner. The point here is not to convince anyone of anything. The point is to theorize for fun. I welcome any opposing theory, even if we wind up not agreeing with each other, even if there are strong reasons for not agreeing, the point is that we had an interesting discussion.

Since Rocklobster mentioned some ideas for shows for toonami, How about we do a thread dedicated to Toonami suggestions.

I'll start with some suggestions

The original Fullmetal Alchemist
I havent seen the full series but since Brotherhood is still airing on Adult Swim they could show the original also.

Interstella 5555
Technically part of this was shown on the Midnight run special edition but this was before it was a full movie.

Metropolis
This movie was shown on Adult Swim.

Steam Boy

Steam Detectives
This show may be old but Toonami has shown some show from ADV before.

Case Closed and its movies
It airing on Toonami could help Funimation dub more seasons and movies of the show.

PS Adult Swim has this new message saying toonamisbackb-(cant say the full phrase) I would like to suggest to them to change that message. So if anyone reading this could think of a better phrase send it to steve blum or adult swim's twitter account.

PPS
Here's some suggestions
Toonamisbackwithabang
Toonamisbackwithabrunch (Heh, that ones a joke:sweat:)

Rules:
1. No swears please. Thank you.
2. Keep it clean. Crude humor is okay, nothing outragous though. And no sex jokes! :eh:
3. Try to post something that's more then like two words, please?
4. TMI's are strongly recommended.

Example:
"Want to know something strange? When I woke up this morning I had this weird, gloopy stuff all over my teeth... Do you wanna see?"

The world of Krangor is reaching a peak of turmoil as it stands between the warring heavens of Adelphi and the dark underworld of Heilgrad. The great goddess of creation, Iawia, has passed on to a sacred other realm as well as the dark goddess and traitor Pandora: but the war continues through their daughters Sophia and Adarah. On Krangor, it is a up to a group of individuals chosen by dragons in a group called the Resistance to defeat the evil monsters and demons sneaking through the world of the dead. A battle of angels, dragons, gods, warriors, and demons is about to come to a final conclusion...

For those returning and new to the rpg, The Dragon Children, this final arch is set five years since the last part of the story. (If you are a returning character, age your character(s) five years.) This rpg will be submitted when enough players join. Rocklobster will be the co-GM. If you don't want to go through the archives and read the original, here is a basic timeline and main character (gods) list:

Story: A small group of young teens meet each other almost 25 years ago with their dragons in hopes of teaming up against Lord Stephan, an evil man causing problems in Krangor (the world) under the orders of Pandora (the evil goddess) who is trapped in a dark underworld called Heilgrad. One of the characters in the party is an older priestess named Sophia who is actually the daughter of Iawia (goddess of good and creation). After she sacrifices herself to save a troubled girl under Pandora, she dies and goes to Adelphi (a heavenly place) where she becomes a full-fledged deity and a fraction of the troubled girl's soul is saved and turned into an angel that can create a portal for Sophia and others to travel between the worlds. Sophia's daughter takes charge of the Dragon Children and the defeat Lord Stephan in a huge battle. The result is that Pandora is destroyed with her servant giving the group the nickname in Krangor of the Resistance. But the evil goddess left a legacy: a daughter birthed from a blood-thirsty, high fallen angel now demon and herself named Adarah. Krangor is relatively peaceful for about 18 years until Adarah comes to an age to rule. The Resistance have all grown up and started families, settlements, and towns as well as their dragons. For the past five years, Adarah has been issuing multiple campaigns to destroy and reach out of her dark prison of Heilgrad into Krangor to burn and destroy. Because it was her aunt, Iawia, that killed her mother, she wants the death of her cousin Sophia who is now the main goddess of light with the aid of her daughter Ariel. The evil goddess has been trying to obtain the last angel created by Iawia who welds a weapon that can go between the three realms; with it she can take over everything. But a resistance has been brewing in Heilgrad under her evil demon father, Bartaine, who wishes to overthrow his daughter and seize power for himself. Ariel has been sending the death angel to negociate a plan to help usurp Adarah. But a new force in Krangor is rising under the dark alligance. Can a resolution come in this ultimate state of imminent battle?

The last story was all about babies, so I'd prefer this to be a conclusion please. Also, dead characters whether gods or not will NOT come back. If you post a returning character , PLEASE add in their history what they did in the arches of the story in which they appeared. The main characters of goddesses and whatnot have for the most been taken.
Rocklobster plays: Sophia, Joanne
Soran plays: Adarah, Ariel, death angel, Bartaine

For the most part, if you play a good character, you will primarily deal with Rock; if you're evil OR an angel, then welcome to the Dark Side with your Sith Lord hostess! You can PM either one or both of us through the story for plot development, etc.

For characters, you can have as many as you can handle. I am looking for a person to create a character to lead a group of dragon children that are EVIL and that are comfortable with being creative and directing a few other characters. This character MUST be approved and accepted first. Other than that, there will be 3 angels and 3 demons positions that are special and must be accepted. Humans and dragons have no limits. :)

The dragon are classified by color and element and goes as follows (please limit the number of elements to 2-4 per element ...i.e. some variety please)
RED--fire--can be either good or evil-oriented
YELLOW--electric--generally good
**new**ORANGE--lava--generally good
GREEN--earth/flora--generally good
BLUE--ice--generally good
**new**PURPLE--water--can be either good or evil-oriented
WHITE--wind--generally good
**new**GREY--liquid metals--can be either good or evil-oriented
SILVER--spirit-- always good
BLACK-- darkness--always evil

Okay! Character sheet at last!

Name:
Race: (angel, demon, human, dragon**include color)
Age:
Appearance:
Personality:
Skills/Weapons:
History:
Side fighting for: (good vs evil)
Other: (whatever you want to add)

I have a sister who is working in an orphanage in Honduras. She is 23, and currently the "mother" of 20 kids between the age of 0 and 10. The orphanage has different age groups, and my sister is the guardian of the kids this age. Although it's called an orphanage, most of these kids aren't actually orphans. Many have had their mothers drop them off because they couldn't support them, or the government has removed them from their parents' custody because they weren't taken care of. These kids come to the orphanage in horrible condition. They have parasites, anemia, and are usually extremely underweight. One 8-year-old weighs 26 pounds at the moment. She takes these kids to the doctor regularly, and works very hard to get them in good health. If she wasn't there, these kids would be taken care of by 12 and 13-year-olds. I'm not trying to put the orphanage down. They do the best they can. I'm just trying to draw a picture of what my sister deals with. She does have a helper (she's 18, I think), but between the two of them, raising 20 kids is crazy. My sister is every aspect of a mother to these kids. She feeds them, disciplines them, loves them, teaches them. She has a huge burden for these kids, not only to meet there physical needs, but to teach them about God and salvation.
Please pray for her physical strength. This is very taxing for her, and she never gives herself a break.
Please pray for issues with staying in Honduras. Right now she's living there on a 5-year residency, which is almost up. Going through all the red tape is insane, especially there. Lawyers are dishonest and love to take advantage of "gringos". Things get dragged out that don't need to be, and it can get pretty nonsensical. So pray that things go smoothly with her getting her visa renewed or a more permanent residency.
Please pray for the kids. Physically, of course. Especially pray for a boy named Gledis, who is anywhere between 6 and 9 (yeah, records aren't too trustworthy there; more than one birth certificate has been presented). He has some sort of disorder that affects his motor skills, the name of which has slipped my mind. I want to say cerebral palsy, but don't quote me on that. I'll check up on that and post it if I'm wrong. My sister has a huge burden for him. He is supposed to go to therapy every week, a routine which was neglected before my sister arrived. She has worked with him so much, and he's finally starting to open up.
Also, please pray for the kids in the spritual realm. She is trying to teach them about God's love before they move up to the next age group, where, frankly, their spiritual condition isn't as prioritized. She is an amazing Christian who loves God so much, and it shows so much in her life.
Thanks so much for your time. Prayer is greatly appreciated.

Well, I'm new here (well, a week old :)), so I figured I need to put up my testimony. Nothing super amazing or crazy. I grew up (or rather, am growing up) in a Christian home. I have great parents, and a great bunch of siblings (6 sisters and two brothers). So I grew up knowing the gospel inside out, knowing how to be saved, and therefore thinking I was saved. I "got saved" at five; a.k.a., prayed the prayer to make my parents happy. But when I as eight, sitting in a junior church service, God convicted me about what the teacher was saying, and I realized that I had never accepted Christ as my Saviour. I talked to my teacher afterwards, and I prayed the same prayer I'd prayed three years before, but this time for no one's sake but my own, because I wanted Jesus in my life. February 17, 2003.
Life went on pretty mediocrely after that. Then at 14, God stirred up my life again. He started making me think about certain things, and convicting me about the staleness of my walk with Him. It started hitting me especially hard while I was on a missions trip to Honduras with my sisters. I was upset and broken down, because I fought God's conviction for so long. Then one of my sisters (who has a way of verbally smacking you upside the head and saying "Hey, wake up!!"), got frustrated with me always bawling about it, and told me I needed to get it right with God. So in a shabby little Honduran hotel room, kneeling under a sink, I rededicated my life to God. And every time someone tries to tell me that God isn't real and I can't prove it, I just wish I could show them how I felt at that moment. A huge peace and rejuvenation flooded over me, and I felt the Holy Spirit wrap His arms around me in a way I can't explain.
Since that day (three years ago), life has had it's ups and downs, mountains and valleys, but I know my life belongs to God, and I trust Him so completely with it. I can't get enough of Him, and I really hope I can meet and fellowship with people like that here. Of course, joking's great too. :poke:
Have a great and God-blessed day, whoever's reading this!!
